Margaret Winn
Hi! I’m Margaret, a curious mind, animal lover, and proud mum to one. I enjoy quality time with friends, especially over good food, exploring nature, and spontaneous adventures. Passionate about live music, I embrace connection, laughter, and the little moments that make life meaningful. All the light and joy that these experiences bring to my life underpin my professional work and can be extended to you.
My Story
I have always found deep fulfilment in caring roles, beginning with my first job working in Care of the Elderly. This early experience nurtured my innate desire to support others, a thread that has woven through every chapter of my professional life. Drawn to the healing power of nature, I retrained in horticulture and spent the next decade tending to plants and the landscape, finding peace and purpose in their care.
My time in nature inspired me to explore deeper forms of healing, leading to over 15 rewarding years as a holistic therapist. During this period, I had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse walks of life, gaining a profound appreciation for the challenges they face and the resilience they embody.
Through my own personal counselling journey, I’ve not only healed past wounds but also discovered clarity and purpose. This transformative experience motivated me to train as a counsellor and become a BACP-registered professional. I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality support to those navigating their own paths toward healing.
As a lifelong learner, I continually seek to grow, both personally and professionally. Ongoing professional development, along with regular group and individual supervision, ensures that I deliver the best possible care to my clients. My dedication to self-development not only enhances my skills but also reflects my passion for helping others achieve clarity and transformation in their lives.
